Event Description:

Valley Metro, along with its partner firm PGH Wong Engineering, Inc. will host a science and engineering fair for all students who have participated in Engineers of the Future during the 2018-2019 school year. Students from seven local South Phoenix junior high and elementary schools will be displaying the projects they have been working on alongside their mentors, including transit centers and truss bridges.

"These projects have inspired me a lot because I now want to be an engineer in the future, I want to be a mechanical engineer,” said Antziri Villa, Engineers of the Future student from C.O. Greenfield Elementary School.

Engineers of the Future is one of the programs being offered to the community as part of the South Central Extension / Downtown Hub Workforce Development Plan. The winning school will be crowned the winner at the South Phoenix Science and Engineering Fair.
