Arizona’s Ultimate Lantern Experience!

Desert Lantern Festival is an event for the entire family to celebrate life, hopes, dreams, friends and family.  Experience the wonder of Desert Lantern Festival on Friday, November 15th and Saturday, November 16th at The Country Thunder Ranch in Florence, AZ. 

Design your own unique lantern.  When the time is right thousands of individual lanterns released in unison, create a beautiful night scene to remember.

  • Tickets
    • Adult Tickets
      $35.00 if purchased in advance
      $45.00 if purchased the day of event
      Adult tickets include lantern, design pen, match book
       
    • Youth Tickets
      $15.00 if purchased in advance
      $25.00 if purchased the day of event
      Youth tickets will not include lantern kits, just entry to the event

      Children 3 and under do not require a ticket

      $1 from each ticket sold goes to Operation Santa Claus.  For more information about Operation Santa Claus, click HERE.

    Enjoy your favorite hit music from the valley’s best DJ’s from 94.5 KOOL-FM, LIVE 101.5 and KMLE 107.9
     
  • Food
    A parade of Food Trucks will be lined up for your preference
     
  • Adult Fun
    Enjoy some adult beverages in the beer garden.
     
  • Kid Friendly
    The kids will get to enjoy from a variety of bounce houses, get their face painted and spend time in our petting zoo.  Additional fee applies.
     
  • Merchandise
    Choose from a number of merchandise items that will be available on-site for purchase including shirts, hoodies, hats, blankets, inflatable chairs, water spray bottles, light up toys for the kids and of course s’mores for the family!
     
  • Parking
    • $5.00 if purchased prior to date of the event
    • $10.00 if purchased the day of event
       
  • Event Schedule
    • 3:00 PM: Gates Open
      Enjoy Food Trucks, Drinks, Music, Bounce Houses and more!
    • 7:15 PM: Lantern Launch
    • 9:00 PM: Event Ends

  • What does the Lantern Kit include?
    Each adult ticket purchased will include entry to the event and a Lantern Kit
    Lantern Kits include: 1 lantern and design pen
    Additional lanterns will be available for purchase on site
    Kids Zone wristbands will be available for purchase
     
  • What is the refund policy?
    No refunds
     
  • What can/can't I bring to the event?
    • No outside food is allowed to be brought inside.
    • No pets are allowed. (except service animals)
    • No weapons of any kind can be brought inside
    • No contents to start a fire or any flammable objects
    • Two unopened water bottles per person may be brought inside.
    • Blankets and folding chairs may also be brought inside.

  • Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
    Yes, everyone ages 4+ must have a ticket. Every ticket has a unique barcode and all tickets will be scanned prior to entry. Counterfeit tickets will not be accepted. Kids 3 and under will not need a ticket.
