Saturday Night Special With Bruce Kelly


KOOL-FM  heats up Saturday nights in 2013 with a hot new show:  the Saturday Night Special with Bruce Kelly.  The program originates live and local from KOOL’s downtown Phoenix studios.  The music is an upbeat blend of the valley’s greatest hits spanning 3 decades of 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s.    Bruce Kelly brings his brand of fun between the songs with live caller and social media interaction.  Features include “I’m In Love with My Car”,  “Saturday Night Fever”,  “Who’s in the Hot Tub”, the “Air Guitar Jam”,   and “Saturday Night Lip Lock”.

About Bruce Kelly

The word “legend” applies to Bruce Kelly, host of the show.  Kelly is one of the Phoenix radio greats.  He was the #1 Top 40 station morning personality through 15 years 1985-2000 and winner of Billboard Magazine’s national “Air Personality of the Year”.    Bruce has been super-active in the community, raising thousands for valley groups serving the homeless, battered women and children, and families of police offers killed in the line of duty.  Bruce’s activities and views have been regularly covered in national media including ABC Nightline, CBS 60 Minutes, and USA Today.
