If Mr. Magoo had a dog – his dog would be SHERMAN!
If there were a way to strap glasses on a dog, Sherman would be wearing a pair thick enough for Mr. Magoo.
May 3rd is National Specially-abled Pet’s Day and Sherman may be partially blind but his love is unending and he’s one of the sweetest and easygoing dog’s you’ll ever meet. As a puppy, Sherman was bit by a snake which caused him to lose his vision. Somehow the resilient vision-impaired dog survived and has adapted beautifully. However, after nine years, his owner was forced to downsize and the landlord didn’t allow big dogs. Months in a kennel are wearing on his spirits and he’s become rather depressed. Sherman is housetrained, loves car rides, knows sit and appreciates long afternoon naps on oversized dog beds. He doesn’t ask for much.
Just an occasional belly rub, good food and a place to call home.
