Feeling KOOL – Type 2 Diabetes Help

A low-carb diet instead of a low-fat one could reduce inflammation in people with type-2 diabetes.  Swedish researchers found people who lowered their carb intake had reduced inflammatory markers in their blood.  The people on the low-fat diet did not.  The weight loss in both groups was the same.  Experts believe inflammation contributes to diabetics’ higher risk of heart problems and other complications.
