Roderick David Stewart has been making great music since 1964 as a solo artist, then joining the Jeff Beck Group, Faces, and back to a solo career.

His stature in the music industry is beyond impressive, consider this:

Rod Stewart ranks #17 on Billboard’s list of Top 100 All Time Artists

27 of his albums hit the Billboard album chart between 1969-1998

57 singles hit the Billboard singles chart between 1970-1999

Rod was inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame twice

In 1994 he was inducted as a solo artist and again in 2012 as a member of Faces

To date, he has sold well over 100 million records in the process.

And as he celebrates his 69th birthday today, there are no signs of slowing down.
