The Who are in town tonight to perform their Quadrophenia album in its entirety along with a generous selection of Who classics at Arena. Tickets are still available for the 7:30 show, and Charlie Huero is out there with the KOOL Krew offering you a free personal memento of the evening you can’t get anywhere else at any cost.  Stop by and say hi to get yours.

One of the group’s five biggest hits was ‘Who Are You’ which cracked the top 15 in 1978.  [Believe it or not the group only had one top 10 hit here in America.]  Anyone who’s heard the original album knows there’s no way radio could have played the original version with the f-bomb included.  So how did it reach such a lofty position as a single?  Two words: remixing (and) editing.  Here’s how the full length version was edited for radio airplay- plus the other four songs that make up The Who’s Top 5.

5.  SQUEEZE BOX #16 – 1976

4. – WON’T GET FOOLED AGAIN #15 – 1971

3. – WHO ARE YOU #14 – 1978

2.  SEE ME FEEL ME #12 – 1970

1.  I CAN SEE FOR MILES #9 – 1967
