Ringo Starr was never known as a songwriter, but he did manage to churn out a couple of songs in the shadow of the other three Beatles.  And he was credited as a co-author on a handful of other tracks, but he was only credited with two on his own with the first coming on the White Album with ‘Don’t Pass Me By’.  The second was included on the final album when Ringo’s  ‘Octopus’s Garden’ was included.  Check out this alternate version (take 2) recorded on March 26, 1969.  It’s quite different from the version you’re used to hearing.
