Legendary mobster Henry Hill died yesterday. Who hasn’t seen the movie Goodfellas? It was all about Henry! And, before you say anything, I couldn’t find a licensed photo of Hill to use in this blog, so I just posted one of Ray Liotta and Robert DeNiro. They were accepting an award for the movie, so it counts…right?
Last week, I posted a poll asking who belongs on which recent Celebrity Death Trifecta. It’s been a busy couple of weeks! The response was unanimous. So, here’s where we stand:
- Kathryn Joosten (actress)
- Richard Dawson (actor/host)
- Herb Reed (singer)
- Ray Bradbury (writer)
- Bob Welch (singer)
- Frank Cady (actor)
- Ann Rutherford(actress)
- Henry Hill(mobster)
In case you’re unfamiliar with the new additions, Frank Cady played the character of Sam Drucker on Green Acres, Petticoat Junction AND The Beverly Hillbillies. Yeah, THAT guy!
Ann Rutherford may be an unfamiliar name. But, I can almost guarantee you’ve seen her work. She starred in MANY movies. Most notably, she was Carreen O’Hara (sister of Scarlett) in Gone With The Wind! Though, I remember her best as Bob Hartley‘s mother-in-law on The Bob Newhart Show.
Just wait. I’m sure we’ll round out this CDT #3 soon enough. Too soon if you ask me!
