As Bee Gee, Barry Gibb, lays his brother, Robin, to rest today in Thame, England, I thought I’d honor the group with another great song from them – “To Love Somebody”. Crowds of fans lined the streets as Robin was brought to the church in a beautiful glass-sided horse-driven carriage…

This was the second single from their third album titled, “Bee Gees 1st,” released in 1967. The song charted all over the world including a peak position in Australia at #6, and only at #17 in the U.S.

Many artists covered this song with the likes of Clay Aiken, Tom Jones, and Michael Bolton. But the original will always be the best. This was one of their live performances from the 90’s, together. Here’s the Bee Gees “To Love Somebody” – as we bid farewell to a legend, RIP Robin Gibb.
