The Fray

Anthony Davis was chosen as the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four. The championship triumph will likely serve as his swan song for the Wildcats, as the 19-year-old freshman is expected enter the NBA draft, where he’ll likely be the number-one pick.

While Davis enjoyed chants of “MVP! MVP!” during the final seconds of the game, The Fray, who sang “The Star-Spangled Banner,” weren’t as lucky. Their stripped-down acoustic take only received a polite applause and was being attacked on the Twitter-sphere last night.  If you didn’t hear it…

    This was a disgrace to our country. I can’t believe the NCCA didn’t screen this horrible act. I only sorry that our brave soliders heard this. Please have more respect in the future.
