Happy 30th Anniversary, Dave!

Do you remember where you were on February 1st, 1982?  David Letterman does.  He was at 30 Rockefeller Center, taping the very first “Late Night With David Letterman” for NBC.  Dave celebrates his 30th anniversary in late night television this week.  That’s actually just LONGER than Johnny Carson did “The Tonight Show!”

Of course, self-deprecating Dave is not one to toot his own horn.  So, leave it to his first-ever guest on both “Late Night” AND “The Late Show,” Bill Murray to bring him a cake last night.  They nearly set fire to the Ed Sullivan Theater!!!

Dave has also made MANY appearances on other television shows over the years.  I’ve got LOTS of video!  Just CLICK HERE.
