default 004 Baseball fan keeps ball but loses life!

It’s hard to imagine, you go to the baseball game with your son..he leaves alone! That’s what happened in Texas yesterday where the Rangers were taking on the Athletics.
For the second time this season a fan has lost his life trying to grab that ultimate souvenir.. “A Baseball”! On Thursday a foul ball hit by ex-D Back Conor Jackson to left field was fielded by Ranger’s outfielder, Josh Hamilton, who threw the ball  into the stands to the anxious fans. A 27 year old Arlington Fireman caught the baseball but as he leaned over the railing he toppled 20 feet to the ground. His son stood behind him with his baseball glove in hand with disbelief! As the man laid on the stretcher he said “Please check on my son up there by himself”! The medical staff carrying the injured man out of the park reassured him “we’ll get your son, we’ll make sure he’s alright”! Team president Nolan Ryan said “As an organization, and our team members and staff, we’re very heavy-hearted about this and our thoughts and prayers go out to the family”! In May, a 27-year old man fell about 20 feet and struck his head on concrete during the 7th inning of a Colorado Rockies game against our own Diamondbacks.
