Why would I pay $13 to see a movie that’s on TV tonight and out on blu-ray this Tuesday?

E-L-V-I-S!  The movie ‘Elvis On Tour’ was shown at over 400 theatres across the country last night including several here in the valley.  Turner Classic Movies is also showing it tonight.The last time I saw the film on big screen was on its original release in 1972.  The picture and sound have been completely remastered and I’m looking forward to getting the blu-ray release on Tuesday because I wasn’t happy with the presentation in the theatre last night.  I’ll tell you why next week after I’ve has a chance to compare the DVD to what I saw on the big screen.  (It’s the last movie to have not previously been released on DVD) Meanwhile, here’s the trailer…hope you have a great weekend.  I’ll have the 70′s for you in the morning and back on live on Monday after taking a couple of days off.
